I wanted to go big with this bouquet and have the flowers fill the canvas. I love sunflowers at the end of summer, and I thought the giant mug would add some fun and whimsy to the piece. There is a bittersweet quality to harvest time. It’s the ushering in of a new exciting season but also saying farewell to the long carefree days of the summertime.
